Applying for RCB Advice
What You Need to Submit — Documentation & Eligibility
To request RCB advice from RDA Hunter, employers (or their migration agents) must submit a complete application. Incomplete applications may result in delays or refusal of advice. Typical requirements include:
- Form 1404 with sections 1-10 complete. For a copy, visit Forms – 1404
- If applicable, completed Form 956. For a copy, visit Forms – 956
- A copy of the online nomination application, or draft if not already lodged.
- Employment contract or letter of offer for the nominated position, including details of base salary, any allowances, entitlements or industrial instrument (award/agreement) where relevant.
- A detailed Position Description for the role.
- An organisational chart / business structure chart, showing all current positions, reporting lines, and where the nominated position fits, to demonstrate genuine employment need.
- Evidence of business registration (ABN/ACN), business address, and company structure (if relevant).
- Evidence and justification of how the AMSR was determined (market-rate benchmarking), including, where applicable, enterprise agreements, awards, comparable salaries to Australian workers, payslips, or other supporting remuneration data.
- Depending on the complexity (e.g. size of business, corporate structure, trust arrangements), additional documents may be requested by the RCB to support assessment.
- A completed copy of RDA Hunter’s Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 494) RCB Assessment Checklist. For a copy of the checklist CLICK HERE
Fees, Timing & Validity
A non-refundable processing fee of $770 (incl. GST) applies to all RCB advice applications. The fee amount will be invoiced after the application is received.
We aim to provide our assessment within 28 days of receipt of the processing fee. Accordingly, applicants need to consider this when submitting their application and supporting documentation.
